Fleeces

A good quality sailing fleece or mid layer is a versatile item of clothing that everyone should have in their sailing kit bag. At Fox’s Chandlery, we select the best sailing fleeces from the ranges of Musto, Gill, Gul and Henri Lloyd.

Fleeces are fantastic at keeping you warm but, although they are designed to be breathable to allow moisture out, keeping you dry on the inside, most fleeces will not keep you dry if worn on their own in wet weather.  Layer under a waterproof sailing jacket or your foul weather suit to stay snug in the wind and rain.

Equally at home ashore as at sea, a good quality, technical fleece will see you through the worst of any weather and is an essential item of kit when packing for a trip outdoors or afloat.
