Deck Fillers

The deck filler is a small fitting with expensive failure modes - the wrong liquid in the wrong tank, or rainwater in the diesel. This collection covers deck fillers and spares for every system: brass, chrome and stainless fillers for fuel, diesel, water and waste, pump-out deck fittings, spare caps and O-ring seals, and the universal keys that open them all.

Colour coding and clear labelling are the cheap insurance here - blue for water, red for fuel, black for waste - and worn seals are the usual culprit when water appears in a tank after rain or washdowns. Keep a spare cap and seal aboard (dropped caps sink beautifully), and check that a replacement filler matches your hose diameter and deck cut-out before ordering.
