Teroson Leak Fix is also known as Teroson UP 120 and is the former Plastic Padding Leak Fix now replaced by an improved formula and sold by Henkel company under Teroson brand.
An all-purpose emergency unsaturated polyester body filler used in sealing and repairing radiators and sumps, but is also widely used in many other marine applications. The leak fix is resistant to petrol, diesel, oil, water and other common chemicals. It is also suitable to be used on repairing leaks on petrol tanks.
Teroson Up 120 is perfect and safe to use on steel, aluminium, galvanized surface, glass fibre tanks, coper and tin surfaces.

Surface preparation prior to using Teroson UP 120
Please ensure that the area around dent, scratch or hole is clean, dry and free from oil, grease or other particles which may affect the adhesion of the surface in contact with the filler.
If the surface is rusty please ensure that this has been removed completely. Grinding the surface with a 120 grit sand paper to bare metal should give you a clean and good working area.
For areas covered with paint, it is not necessary to remove it if this has a good adhesion to the surface. If this is not the case please use the above directions in order to achieve a good working area.
Application of the body filler
- Mix a small amount of body filler (40ml - the size of a golf ball) with a 4 to 5 cm (2 - 3%) long hardener strip of Teroson UP 190 using a mixing stick or the spreader, both supplied in the packaging until a grey uniform colour is achieved.
- After mixing to perfect ratio apply the filler within 3.5 minutes (at 20°C) onto the area which needs to be repaired evenly and plenty so that the dent, scratch or hole is filled properly.
- If a thicker layer needs to be applied please make sure that you should build-up multiple layers in order to achieve perfect coverage.
- Soon as the filler is hard enough (usually withing 20 - 30 minutes) can be
sanded with a 120 grit sandpaper to achieve a smooth finish.

Our policy is simple – you have up to 30 days to return your purchase if it’s not suitable or you’ve changed your mind. We want you to be completely happy with your purchase from Fox’s Chandlery, but if for any reason you need to return an item/s to us, you must notify us in writing within 14 days of delivery that you intend to return the item/s and return the item/s to us within 30 days of delivery and we’ll be happy to exchange for another item or make a refund by the same method used to pay for the order.

Simply bring your order confirmation or delivery note and the item you wish to return or exchange, unused and in its original packaging, to our till point in the shop. If you paid by debit or credit card, please ensure you also bring the payment card you originally used to buy the item/s.

2. Complete your reason(s) for return on the Returns Form included with your order.
3. Enclose the Returns Form with the product and package up securely.
4. Please use the original packaging if at all possible, but remove original postage labels.
5. Use the Returns label from the delivery note and always obtain proof of postage.
