Sevylor Alameda 2 + 1 Inflatable Kayak 2021
The Alameda Kayak from Sevylor is a great kayak to have fun on the water along family and friends being a three person inflatable kayak, but it can easily become a tandem or solo paddling kayak due to its removable and adjustable seats. The latest version comes with plenty of features and some improvements so that you can explore a much better experience whilst on the water.
What is the difference between Alameda and Alameda Premium?
Both Alameda and the premium version are identical except for the Sevylor Easy Inflation System which is found on the Alameda Premium Kayak. What this system does? Well, this is a single-point valve that's very easy to use and will inflate all three tubes at the same time and due to its incredibly smart design if one of the tube becomes punctured the other two will remain inflated. All in all is a great addition to have for your kayak and well worth the extra money.
On which type of water is it good for?
Comparing to the other models the Alameda is the only one which can take a higher inflation pressure and can be used on coastal waters, open sea, rapids, rivers and inland canals. The stability of this kayak is impressive and will glide on the water in a straight line without an issue being suitable for families up to three members with a weight of not more than 225kg.
What we love the most?
The best part of this kayak are the seats! They are just fantastic and very comfortable having a brand new and improved design for 2019 season making from the Alameda the most popular family kayak from its range. The seats are now suspended from the side tubes and no longer sit on the kayak floor like the previous model, allowing your weight to be spread across the whole kayak. This new feature will help avoiding any misshaping of the hull and damage caused by foreign objects chafing with foreign under water objects. But that's not all! The seats can be moved back or forward inch by inch or even removed completely allowing you to paddle on your own or share it with one more person.
Why is Sevylor Alameda our favourite family kayak?
Our strongest argument when it comes to this question is simple: Is almost impossible to flip it over while in the water. The stability of this kayak is impressive even for an inflatable one! While the size of it is very generous the weight is only 19kg which makes it easy to be handled by a single adult! It comes with a bag which is also very comfortable to carry due to its padded shoulder straps. The best part of this dry bag is the drainage plug which allows the kayak to drip-dry whilst inside the bag.

We will dispatch your order as soon as possible, usually the day it is received for orders placed before 2PM. Our stock is controlled such that all items bought online are available in stock with our shop or supplier. If there is any delay due to a product being out of stock, or there is a longer lead time, for example, in the case of ‘Special Order’ items, or having a longer lead time for production, we will contact you, however, this will also be suggested at the checkout. In such cases, we will advise when the product will be delivered (or is available for collection if you have opted to collect from our store).

Our policy is simple – you have up to 30 days to return your purchase if it’s not suitable or you’ve changed your mind. We want you to be completely happy with your purchase from Fox’s Chandlery, but if for any reason you need to return an item/s to us, you must notify us in writing within 14 days of delivery that you intend to return the item/s and return the item/s to us within 30 days of delivery and we’ll be happy to exchange for another item or make a refund by the same method used to pay for the order.
Return goods purchased in-store
Simply bring your order confirmation or delivery note and the item you wish to return or exchange, unused and in its original packaging, to our till point in the shop. If you paid by debit or credit card, please ensure you also bring the payment card you originally used to buy the item/s.
Return goods via Royal Mail or Courier
1. Download and print our returns form here.
2. Complete your reason(s) for return on the Returns Form included with your order.
3. Enclose the Returns Form with the product and package up securely.
4. Please use the original packaging if at all possible, but remove original postage labels.
5. Use the Returns label from the delivery note and always obtain proof of postage.
